Ardnamurchan Single Malt Whisky

Ardnamurchan Distillery, located on the remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula in the Western Highlands, was established in 2014 by independent bottler Adelphi. Production began in 2014, with the first official single malt released in 2020. The distillery produces both peated and unpeated spirit in roughly equal measure, with a focus on natural presentation and sustainability, using renewable energy sources. Ardnamurchan’s whiskies are typically matured in a mix of bourbon and sherry casks, with limited editions exploring finishes such as Sauternes and rum. Despite being a young(er) distillery, Ardnamurchan has quickly gained a reputation for quality and innovation, continuing Adelphi’s legacy of independent whisky expertise.
